Baptism on the Day of Pentecost

St. Mary of the Incarnation held a beautiful service in God's creation on the Day of Pentecost, 19 May 2024. The service was down by Taylor Beach in a Gary oak field of Glengarry Farm. We are very grateful to Doug Ruth for hosting us in this beautiful spot. It was wonderful to be in the midst of wildflowers, Garry oaks, fluttering butterflies and singing birds as we celebrated the Holy Spirit, and the birth of the Church.

Joel Kroeker was baptised, and Ed Bennington re-affirmed his baptismal vows by immersion in the ocean. Here is a wee video of the baptism.
