As a Board member of Coast Funds (their website address is coastfunds.ca) I am privileged to be offered insight into First Nations within the Great Bear Rainforest.  On February 5th, the Board and staff of Coast Funds were taught by a First Nation's elder about the history of engagement among First Nations and the colonial and then Canadian goverments, including the enormous changes created through the legal system in the last 40 years.
