Greetings from Iskut BC
In northern BC and will get south of Prince George maybe late next week. We had a great 47th anniversary at Boya Lake.
Sunday we were in Skagway but were disappointed that there is no Episcopal church. Next day was a lovely surprise. In Atlin, winter population roughly 300, there is a vibrant Anglican Church.
The minister, Rev Dorothy Odin, was born in Atlin, lived in Victoria roughly from age 5 to 13, then returned to Atlin where she lives since. We met when I entered the church. The window in picture 2 survived fire at the Episcopalian church in Juneau, who donated it to Atlin.
Sadly, the deacon there had just died after a lengthy illness. The funeral for the Rev George Holman will be Saturday. Please include him and the congregation in our Prayers of the People.
